- The San Francisco label will put out Philippe Fichot's 1982 album Die Puppe in January.
Dark Entries has revealed its first reissue full-length reissue of 2015: Die Form's Die Puppe, originally released in 1982.
Die Puppe was French industrial artist Phillipe Fichot's first vinyl release, which came after almost five years of releasing cassettes (and only in a limited run of 1000 on his own Bain Total label, which was also home to records from Camera Obscura, Mental Code and others). This LP comprises his "first electronic experiments, often improvised... [with] underlying themes of eroticism, death and other 'taboo' subjects," made mostly with a grip of hardware machines like a Roland TR-808, MC4 and an ARP 2600. The reissue is sourced from the original master tapes and the record sleeve is said to be an exact replica of the original as designed by Fichot, and it comes with new photos and liner notes.
