  • Romare has released details of his debut full-length, Projections, due out early 2015. Taking name and influence from Romare Bearden, the well-known collagist whose work centered on black America, London-born producer Archie Fairhurst burst onto the scene in 2012 with Meditations On Afrocentrism, an EP that outlined his fascination with African-American culture and its traditions. Coming out on Ninja Tune, the forthcoming album furthers his exploration into the field, while re-imagining "the profound cultural impact of the collage technique for a new generation of music listeners." Projections will be released on CD, digital and as a double-pack LP. Watch the album trailer below.
