  • A new London-based label called Hhatri will reissue a collection of tracks from Far East Recording, The Far East Transcripts. Hhatri is an acronym for "history has a tendency to repeat itself." As you might infer from that, the label will have a focus on reissues. Material from Japanese imprint Far East Recording is up first, with tracks from Shinichiro Yokota and founder Soichi Terada set for a long-awaited vinyl re-release. One cut from each artist make up the A-side, while Yokota's "Do It Again," plus a remix from London producer Fabio Monesi, sit the flip. Far East Recording was founded by Soichi Terada in 1988. Throughout the '90s, the label hosted a slew of far-reaching releases, many of which are considered classics today. While there's no word on what else Hhatri plans to release yet, Rush Hour have given away a few details of a forthcoming Soichi Terada compilation, which has been compiled by Hunee and due out in December. Listen to samples from the upcoming Hhatri reissue via the player below.
