  • Magnetic Fields 2014 will run from December 12th through 14th at the Alsisar Mahal hotel in Rajasthan. Returning to the lavish grounds of a 17th Century palace (and now hotel), the three-day festival is one of a handful of underground electronic events in India. The lineup for this year is considerably more international than 2013, with Digital Mystikz boss Mala headlining alongside Kompakt's Justus Kohncke, Terranova and new addition Weval. There are also slots for Sri Lankan-born Londoner My Panda Shall Fly, grime newcomer Flava D, hip-hop veteran DJ Vadim, Mexican singer-songwriter Graciela Maria and Germany's Pawas. The festival will continue to shine a light on local talent, with 20 Indian artists on the bill. Techno jock Gaurav Malaker, beatsmith EZ Riser and multi-disciplinarian Monica Dogra are among the acts confirmed. In addition to the music, Magnetic Fields will run morning yoga classes, craft workshops, costume balls and food tastings. For a clearer picture of what to expect, check out this video from 2013.
