  • Ben Frost has three Australian shows lined up for this summer. It's been another landmark year for the Melbourne-born, Iceland-based producer and composer, whose latest LP, A U R O R A, was described by RA's Andrew Ryce as "the darkest and most powerful recording of his career." For his first show, Frost will be sharing the stage with frequent collaborator Tim Hecker as part of the Sydney Festival 2015 programme—that performance will go down at the Opera House's Joan Sutherland Theatre on January 11th. The following weekend he heads down to Hobart for MONA FOMA, a four-day event that begins on the 15th at the Museum Of Old And New Art and also features acts like Omar Souleyman, Dan Deacon and a separate set from Hecker. Finally, on February 5th, Frost touches down in Melbourne to play a Novel show at The Hi-Fi.
