  • Floating Points has a new EP on the way. Nuits Sonores follows the UK producer's King Bromeliad EP and the "Sparkling Controversy" single track 12-inch from earlier this summer. In a review of the former, RA's Kit Macdonald described it as showing Shepherd in "sumptuous form... but nodding a little more towards the dance floor," a move that looks to continue on these two tracks. Information on the release is scarce, though we do know it contains two tracks—"Nuits Sonores" and "Nectarines"—and is set for release early next month. As usual, it'll come out via Eglo. You can listen to the title track below. In other Floating Points news, Shepherd put his name on a new rotary mixer this month.
