- The package comprises a CD, a photo book and a DVD capturing the duo's final live show.
Full details of the British Murder Boys compilation on Downwards have emerged.
The compilation, first announced in May 2014, was preceded by an EP called Live In Tokyo. The full package is set to land this month. It features a 12-track CD (called Recordings) of singles released between 2001 and 2006, a photo book and a Live In Tokyo DVD that captures video footage of the duo's final live performance.
The collection marks the end of the British Murder Boys project for Regis and Surgeon. Speaking to The Quietus last month, Karl O'Connor said: "We came back and then we tied up the loose ends." He added: "The final show in Tokyo was the one where we actually pulled off what we always said we were going to do and put on a real show, not just a regular club gig where we play techno at people. I'm glad it was filmed and I'm glad the final edit captures the tension between us. We just couldn't do it again because it was a one-time thing... we made it end."
Check out some photos of the compilation over on the Downwards blog.
