- The prolific producer will release another EP from his house-leaning alias this December.
Matthew Herbert will release Part 8 via his own Accidental label on December 14th.
The unpredictable producer has returned to more traditional dance music paradigms after a long period focusing on conceptual works under his full name. In 2014 he relaunched the numbered "Part" series, which began with Part 1 on Phono in 1995 and had remained dormant for the past eight years. Part 8 is the third release in the series to come out this year, following Part 6 and Part 7. For the latest installment, he's recruited several vocalists including Rahel (of Hejira) and Ade Omotayo, who has worked with Kindness and Amy Winehouse.
