  • Big Wave is the latest party to hit London's club scene, opening with Lil' Louis on Friday, December 5th. The new series was born out of Dance Tunnel in Dalston, cooked up by Miles Simpson (Thunder), Matt Wickings (manager at Dance Tunnel) and Jake Manders (Idiots Are Winning). According to Simpson, the parties will aim to "generally mix things up a bit," making use of various spaces and an eclectic range of acts spanning different generations. Big Wave's first event will run at The Yard, a fully licensed DIY theatre and performance space in East London's Hackney Wick, headed up by Lil' Louis and a team of residents. The venue has a 250-person capacity and will be fitted with a hand-built Amgine sound system, a high-end rotary mixer and a three-way isolator. Tickets to Big Wave are available here on RA.
