  • Afrikan Sciences will release an album through PAN called Circuitous on December 8th. Eric Porter Douglas's LP for PAN is the label's fifth full-length of 2014, following contributions from James Hoff, Valerio Tricoli, Lee Gamble and Objekt. The New York artist has been putting out jazz, hip-hop and house-influenced records on Deepblak, the imprint he runs with friend and collaborator AYBEE, since 2007. (Earlier this year the two artists put out a Miles Davis-inspired LP called Sketches Of Space.) PAN say Circuitous "reflects his long history of live, improvised sets combining multiple turntables, upright bass, and a command center of digital tablets and controllers." The album will land on double-vinyl, CD and digital formats. Stream the first single and title track below.
