Mike Huckaby visits the Tasman in November

- The Detroit house head will head to Australia and New Zealand later this month.
- Mike Huckaby is booked for shows in Australia and New Zealand this November. Nearly 20 years on from his first 12-inch release, the Detroit house luminary is still active in the studio, with 2014 bringing, among other things, a Huckaby remix of Motor City Drum Ensemble's lauded Raw Cuts. He's an active figure on the global touring scene, playing more than a dozen countries in as many months. His Tasman tour begins on November 28th with a show at Sydney's Burdekin Hotel with James Fazzolari, Dave Stuart and Bad Apple resident B_A (Ben Ashton) on support. The following night, Melbourne crew Citipower will celebrate their first anniversary at Lounge with Tim Heaney and Sam Hilton, then on the weekend of December 5th through 7th Huckaby will play Subsonic Music Festival at Barrington Tops, NSW. He'll then fly over to Auckland on the 12th for a party at Ink & Coherent alongside locals Matt Drake, Tom McGuinness and the Gran Derby DJs. Tickets to the Sydney show are available here on RA.
