  • Alvin Aronson will play a pair of West Coast dates beginning Friday, November 14th in San Francisco. He's scheduled to spin at the Black Magic Disco event at F8 next Friday alongside Powel, a veteran of Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream parties. SF jocks Craig Kuna and Nackt have also been tapped for support. The following evening, he'll travel south to LA for the return of the 2True underground. Joining him on the bill will be Natan H, a producer and DJ whose Glen Park EP just dropped on ManMakeMusic. The DTLA gathering features Funktion One sound in a yet to be disclosed location. Aronson met his White Material cohort (Galcher Lustwerk, DJ Richard and Morgan Louis) while studying at the Rhode Island School Of Design. He's influenced by minimalist composers such as Laurie Spiegel and Alvin Lucier along with classic Detroit, Chicago and Jersey dance music. His debut on White Material is imminent and he recently remixed Mark E on the latter's AVION EP. Check out his mix for Berlin Community Radio below.
