Prosumer has turned in the latest edition of fabric's mix series.
The highly regarded DJ, producer and former Panorama Bar resident is known for his digging prowess. And a glance at the tracklist, which is brimming with both classic and contemporaries, suggests fabric 79 will provide an excellent snapshot of his well informed but highly danceable style. Music from Chez Damier, Linkwood, Tuff City Kids, Earth People and Farley Jackmaster Funk's A Black Man, A Black Man And Another Black Man all makes the cut, as does the lead single from Prosumer and Murat Tepeli's new label, Potion. Prosumer, born Achim Brandenburg, said he approached the mix as if he was prepping for a gig, though he recorded it at home. "The ducks outside my window were a hard crowd to read," he adds.
