- Open Studios will hold its annual Halloween bash, also featuring Jay Tripwire.
- Open Studios will host its 2014 Deadbeats night on November 1st. It's a Halloween tradition for the long-running Vancouver venue, which usually goes down on or around the 31st of October and often highlights Canadian talent. This year they've got Berlin-based Cynosure boss Mike Shannon in the headlining slot, backed up by Vancouver vet Jay Tripwire and a host of other locals: Andy Clockwork, Soloman Potashnick and Lou D. Extra Halloween features include a photobooth, decorations by Ooma Productions and a "spooky video mapping installation" by visual artist Bentmatter.
