- The Ukrainian producer's next album is inspired by David Lindsay's 1920 book of the same name.
Vakula has announced details of his next album, A Voyage To Arcturus.
The LP carries a concept inspired by Mikhaylo Vityk's passion for the written word. (He's also involved with a label named after famed Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.) A Voyage To Arcturus gets its title from David Lindsay's 1920 sci-fi book. With 16 tracks titled after the book's chapters, Vakula told RA the effort is "more like a soundtrack" than a traditional album. Though he says it'll come out via his own Leleka label "soon," an exact release date has not yet been set. It'll be Vityk's third LP, following last year's You've Never Been To Konotop (Selected Works 2009-2012) for Firecracker Recordings and a 2012 LP for Dekmantel as Vedomir.
