  • DJ Bone will make a rare New York appearance at a secret loft location this Friday, October 17th. The veteran DJ and producer founded Subject Detroit Records in the mid-'90s, providing a platform for his own future-gazing house and techno, as well as releases from Mark Williams, Juan Atkins and more. He will DJ across three turntables at a 12-hour loft party presented by The Long Count and Exit System this Friday in Brooklyn—his first New York appearance in 15 years. The bill for the evening also includes a number of local artists from the Sustain-Release and Bossa Nova Civic Club circles: recent RA feature subject Aurora Halal, Proibito artist Hank Jackson and Bossa staples Analog Soul among others.
