  • Trouw have revealed details of The Trouw Book, a collection of interviews, photos and essays documenting the club's tenure. The cherished nightspot may be closing on January 3rd, 2015, but they're determined to go out with a bang. As well as promising some big farewell parties, they're releasing a book that pays tribute to Trouw's restaurant, club and art space. It contains pictures, personal anecdotes and interviews from Trouw's crew of DJs and staff, including residents Tom Trago and Job Jobse, and international guests like Gerd Janson, Optimo and the Innervisions team. The club's founder and creative director, Olaf Boswijk, who's currently busy with RA's charity cycle, has penned a farewell letter for the book. He's also provided a history of the club through "conversations with the architects and designers, featuring stories dating back to Trouw’s many predecessors, including 11," the venue's website reveals. The book is being published in English. There will also be a limited edition box set version comprising a vinyl double-pack with music from the club's residents, a copy of the book itself, behind-the-scenes photos, an illustrated map of Trouw and, the website adds, "actual physical remains of the building." You can preorder the book from Trouw's online shop. It's due for release in December 2014.
