- Houndstooth will release an EP with the two reworks in November.
Houndstooth have called on Vatican Shadow and The Haxan Cloak to remix material from Akkord's recent HTH020 EP.
The two reworks are ambitious in scale. The Haxan Cloak used parts of all four tracks that appeared on HTH020—"Gravure," "Continuum," "Typeface" and "Greyscale"—and reassembled them into one ten-minute piece. For his version, Vatican Shadow drew creative inspiration from Room Two at Houndstooth's parent club, fabric, turning in a track ("The World Is Complete") that draws on elements of "Typeface" and "Greyscale." HTH030 will land on heavyweight vinyl with a postcard insert. You can hear clips over at the Houndstooth website.
