Bossa Nova Civic Club in Brooklyn will host Huerco S, Jus-Ed, Lauren Flax and more this month.
The Bushwick house and techno hangout, responsible for programming one of two stages at Sustain-Release last month, has shared highlights from its October schedule. This Friday, October 10th is presented by Steve Summers' Confused House , with sets from Proibito producers Huerco S. and Hank Jackson alongside Bookworms. The following night is The Long Count, with an extended set from Jus-Ed, flanked by residents Scallywag and Blacklauren.
On October 17th, Down By Low will host Sequencias artists Specter and J.M. De Frias, as well as Drome Grunge and resident Masahiro Uedo. Industry of Machines will take over the next night, offering sets from John Barera and Will Martin (who recently released their debut LP, Graceless, on Steffi's Dolly label). They'll be joined by Paul Morse, playing live, and Volvox. Lauren Flax and Gavin Russom, residents of Bossa's Drakkar Noir monthly, will wrap up the month with a party on the 24th.
