- Rare tracks from Ron Hardy and Traxmen feature on the double-CD and vinyl compilation.
Still Music's Jerome Derradji has announced a compilation called Kstarke Records: The House That Jackmaster Hater Built.
Derradji worked with Kevin Starke, AKA Jackmaster Hater, in putting together the compilation. As owner of Kstarke Records in Chicago, Starke got his hands on a number of rare tracks that were often traded between the city's high-profile DJs (Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles). Kstarke Records: The House That Jackmaster Hater Built brings together a number of these tracks, with three of Hardy's edits featuring alongside tunes from Traxmen, Terrence Woodard, James "Jack Rabbit" Martin and a load of Starke's own music as Jackmaster Hater. It'll land on double-CD and two double-vinyl LPs. The vinyl versions come with a poster, while the CD comes with booklet about Starke and his record store.
