The Detroit DJ will make a handful of other appearances in October as well.
Theo Parrish will return to François K's Deep Space residency at Cielo in Manhattan on Monday, October 27th.
The Midwestern house luminary is gearing up for five US engagements next month, starting with RA's inaugural Chicago event at SmartBar on October 3rd—his first Windy City appearance since 2006. On October 18th he'll headline the newly-expanded Hot Mass party in Pittsburgh, followed by Output in Brooklyn on the 24th, The Sound Table in Atlanta on the 25th, and Deep Space on the 27th. Though Parrish—who recently announced his fifth LP, American Intelligence—is no stranger to François K's Monday night residency, it will be his first appearance at Deep Space since their seventh-anniversary party in 2010.
The weekly party has also announced a November 10th DJ set from David J, best known as a founding member of the iconic post-punk outfit Bauhaus, who is preparing to release his new solo record, An Eclipse of Ships, towards the end of this year. November 17th will see a debut NYC DJ session from electronic music pioneer Thomas Dolby, another icon of '80s futurism, who has prepared a set of electrofunk classics for the evening.
Tickets for all of these events are available here on RA.
