  • Sonos Studio has revealed its plans for Amsterdam Dance Event 2014. The three-day residency at Mayer Manor will be the second time the audio company has had a presence at the conference. Open to the public from Thursday, October 16th through Saturday the 18th, the space will again host interactive talks, performances, conversations and film screenings, spanning a range of sounds and styles. Highlights include a preview of Scripted And Prepared, Henrik Schwarz's new project with pianist Nik Bärtsch, as well as an insight into the world of online music curation courtesy of 22tracks. On the Friday night, RA will present the first showing of our new ORIGINS film, which was made in collaboration with Sonos and features Black Coffee. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the South African artist. The programme also includes nightly discussions with various DJs and live acts, including Midland, Lunice, Modeselektor, Anthony Parasole and Function.
