  • Eventide has just released UltraReverb. The plug-in comes from a company best known for its hardware effects processors, from the sort of stompboxes favored by Barker & Baumecker up to high-end rackmount units. UltraReverb draws its reverb algorithms from one of the latter—their revered H8000 UltraHarmonizer—and features more than 300 presets to get you started with them. The plug-in does a lot more than reverb, though. It boasts four independent parametric EQs, pre- or post-reverb compression, stereo delays, reverb tail randomization and a lo-fi control for adding some distortion to the signal. You can see what it has to offer and hear how it sounds in the video below.
Ultra Reverb is now available from Eventide for $79 through October 17th, 2014, and $199 thereafter.
