  • Brooklyn-based production duo Bob Moses have announced a fall and winter tour through North and South America, hot on the heels of their Domino debut. Until the release of this summer's I Ain't Gonna Be The First To Cry on Domino, the breakout duo's discography comprised only two twelve-inches, both released by New York's Scissor & Thread label. Now they're preparing to bring their melodic, R&B-infused deep house sound on a 23-gig tour with stops across the US, Canada and a number of Latin American countries. They'll kick it off at TomorrowWorld in Atlanta on September 27th, soundtracking the festival's Pete Tong-curated stage. On October 11th they've scheduled two Brazil gigs on the same day: one at Tribaltech and another in Campinas, outside of Sao Paulo. On the 12th they'll already be in Miami to spin at IIIPoints. The 17th will see them heading up North to play Philadelphia's intimate house and techno hangout, The Dolphin, followed by gigs at TV Lounge in Detroit on the 18th, Flash in DC on the 23rd and Stereo in Montreal on the 24th. They'll swing into Chicago for a Smart Bar engagement on the 25th. The two-piece will hit Seattle's Barboza on the 29th, Portland's Holocene on the 30th, and SF's 1015 Folsom on the 31st, then round out the West Coast leg of their tour with a stop at the Escape From Wonderland festival outside of LA on November 1st. After that they'll play the Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge, MA on the 6th, a Fun Fun Fun Festival after-party in Austin on the 7th, and a show at 88 Palace in NYC on the 8th. They'll close out their North American tour with two Canadian gigs: one at Coda in Toronto on the 14th and one at Electric Owl in Vancouver on the 15th. Then Bob Moses will fly back to Latin America to play Salon Amador in Medellin, Colombia on the 11th, Billares Londres in Bogota on the 12th and the Lost Beach Club in Santa Elena, Ecuador.
