  • Terrence Dixon and Gabi are the headliners for Not To Be Trusted in Ann Arbor on Saturday, September 20th. It's the tenth edition of the party, also known as I Am Not To Be Trusted, which has been thrown by the locally based techno website Dub Monitor since August of last year. The list of previous guests, heavy on Detroit talent, includes Luke Hess, BMG, Erika, Annie Hall and Rrose. For this one, Dixon—whose next and perhaps last LP, Theater Of A Confused Mind, coming from his Population One alias, is due to drop soon—will bring his cerebral take on techno to town with a live set. Gabi, born in Germany but a longtime resident of the Detroit area, where she's now a part of the Paxahau crew, will DJ, and local support on the decks will come from Dub Monitor's Altstadt Echo and Inyahed Signalman. As usual, the party will happen at The Necto, with an 18-and-over admission policy.
