The Soul Clap-led group will present their first LA showcase in late September.
Crew Love will host their first LA showcase at the Mondrian's poolside bar on September 27th.
The fun-loving group of producers will maintain a rather intense touring schedule throughout the fall. Soul Clap is booked solid through Thanksgiving, spinning a grip of US gigs between multiple trips to Mexico and Europe. For the LA show, West Coast affiliate Navid Izadi will perform live. His Prince homage "Feelin' Purple" came out on Wolf + Lamb's label last year, and that New York-based duo are also scheduled to appear. Nick Monaco, whose R&B-inspired full-length Mating Calldrops this week, is slated to DJ.
Monaco will also perform live alongside Crew Love affiliated act PillowTalk later in the evening as part of a bill headlined by Hercules & Love Affair.
Will Lynch recently sat down with Soul Clap to discuss their Boston roots, an upcoming collaboration with George Clinton and more as part of our RA Exchange series.
Tickets to the September showcase are available on RA.
