Fis will release a new EP called Speech Spirits in September.
Olly Peryman has had our ear since his first releases on Samurai Music a few years ago (check our Breaking Through feature from back in 2012). Known for his deconstructed and sometimes aggressive take on drum & bass, the New Zealand-born producer's music has become less indebted to the genre over time, especially with his more recent efforts for Tri Angle.
Now he's set to help launch a new London-based imprint called Loopy with Speech Spirits, according to Juno Plus. It's a four-track EP that comprises two new Fis productions along with two remixes—one from German favourite Kassem Mosse and another from noise-inclined experimental artist Oren Ambarchi.
