  • Vancouver's Subversive will host Mike Servito and Rødhåd in the coming weeks. Subversive have been among Vancouver's most reliable promoters when it comes to techno. They've had a strong 2014 so far, booking the likes of Shed and Honey Soundsystem's Jason Kendig, and now they're returning for a September double-header. First up, next Friday, September 5th, is a party with Bunker regular Mike Servito, known for his deep, diverse and extended sets (you can read more about him in Jordan Rothlein's recent feature). That one will go down at Studio East, with Myte and Austin Phillips in the support slot. The following weekend, on Saturday, September 13th, Subversive will welcome Dystopian head and Berghain resident Rødhåd to the West Coast for his Vancouver debut. Happening at Subversive's usual home of Open Studios, this one again features Phillips on opening duty, as well as local DJ Nancy Dru Rødhåd also has a date in Montreal the night before, where he'll play a party called Bacchanale Story. Get yourself in the mood with Servito's recent set for Beats In Space radio below.
