  • Recondite will release his second solo EP for Hotflush on September 1st. German producer Lorenz Brunner first appeared on Scuba's label in 2012 with two remixes of that producer's "The Hope," followed by his solo Hotflush debut "DRGN" later that year. Now, following an album on Ghostly and EPs for Innervisions, Dystopian and others, he's returning to the UK imprint with a sequel to "DRGN" that "picks up exactly where its 2012 namesake left off"—which means dark, droning techno. The flipside hews closer to Brunner's more melodic work on Innervisions, with Hotflush calling it "potentially summer-defining." You can stream clips below, and for more on Brunner and his unique working methods, check out Will Lynch's Recondite feature from last year.
