Berlin Current goes on tour

- Dasha Rush, Objekt and OAKE will throw down for the CTM initiative at a number of events in the coming weeks.
- CTM Festival will once again send a selection of Berlin-based artists on tour as part of its Berlin Current series. Berlin Current is a roster of Berlin-based artists handpicked by the team behind CTM. By hosting concerts, club nights and providing financial support, CTM aims to raise the profile of the selected artists and, at the same time, reinforce Berlin's reputation as a creative hub. At the moment, these artists include Objekt, Dasha Rush, OAKE, Opium Hum and rRoxymore, plus around a dozen others. The coming months will see the Berlin Current artists play a variety of showcases. Most of these will be part of the programme of larger events. The tour gets underway with a launch party at Urban Spree in Berlin on September 5th, where Sarah Farina, Katev, Opium Hum and Moon Wheel will perform. The following weeks will see stops in The Hague on September 26th and 27th for TodaysArt (Sarah Farina, OAKE and more), Krakow on October 17th and 18th for Unsound (Amnesia Scanner, Lotic, M.E.S.H. and more), Marseilles on October 18th for RIAM Festival (Moon Wheel, Phoebe Kiddo and OAKE) and Mexico City for October 23rd through 25th for MUTEK.MX (M.E.S.H., Objekt, rRoxymore and Born In Flamez).
