Demdike Stare top the bill at Flussi 2014

- Flussi Festival has revealed full details of its sixth edition, kicking off on August 25th at Teatro Comunale Carlo Gesualdo. The week-long media arts event has been running annually since 2009, hosting performances, workshops and talks from leading local and international avant-garde acts. Running from August 25th through Sunday 31st, the festival returns to its southern Italian home in Avellino, inviting the likes of TM404 (AKA Andreas Tilliandere), Laurel Halo and Rashad Becker. Other highlights include UK industrialists Clock DVA on Wednesday night, Roly Porter on Thursday and an Italian premiere of Demdike Stare re-scoring 1922 silent horror film Häxan on Friday evening. The tag-line for this year's edition is "Selfware," commenting on the narcissistic nature of today's information-led society. For the schedule in full, click here.
