  • Delta Funktionen will play his first Australian shows in September. The Dutchman (real name Niels Luinenburg) has been affiliated with Amsterdam label Delsin, and its deeper sublabel Ann Aimee, since his debut dropped on the latter back in 2008. Earlier this year, Luinenburg announced the launch of his own imprint, Radio Matrix, which will focus on putting out music from around his hometown, Leeuwarden. His Australian tour begins with a show at the Burdekin Hotel in Sydney on September 6th, where the venue's weekly La Famiglia party will team up with local label IF? Records to host the gig, offering support from Sebastian Bayne, Gabe Fernandes and Theta State. On the 12th, Luinenburg heads to Coniston Lane in Brisbane for the Andromeda Festival launch event, before flying down to Melbourne to play Gallery at Lounge, the afterhours weekly that gets going at 3 AM on September 14th. Tickets to the Sydney show are available here on RA.
