  • Recloose will fly to Australia this weekend to play sets in Melbourne and Sydney. The Detroit-born house and techno producer has spent the past 13 years in New Zealand, where he's rooted himself in the Auckland scene as a DJ/producer, radio host (he and Frank Booker have run Hit It & Quit It since 2009) and teacher at the Audio Institute Of New Zealand. A role with Serato will take Recloose (real name Matthew Chicoine) to New York in October. Before then, he'll fit in a two-show Australian visit. Chicoine will first head to Melbourne on August 22nd to play a free gig at Hugs & Kisses alongside Tornado Wallace and Rambl. The following night he'll headline the Burdekin Hotel in Sydney, where La Famiglia and Charades are teaming up to host local supports Magda Bytnerowicz, Benji & Statz and Kyle Kenn across two floors. Tickets to the Sydney show are available here on RA.
