Todd Terje to play Falls Festival 2014

- The lineup for Australia's Falls Festival 2014 has been announced. The annual camping event, which last year expanded with the addition of a Byron Bay event, now spreads itself across three states over the New Year's period, with artists hopping between Byron (NSW), Lorne (Victoria) and Marion Bay (Tasmania). The 2014/15 edition features a number of dance heavyweights, including Todd Terje performing the Australian debut of his new live show. Röyksopp & Robyn will also be sharing the stage for the first time in the country following their 2014 LP Do It Again, while return visits will be made by Jamie xx, SBTRKT, Badbadnotgood, Tensnake and Tycho. The domestic bill comprises a number of crossover bands like The Presets, The Temper Trap, Movement and Future Classic trio Jagwar Ma. The festival tour kicks off in Lorne on December 28th, followed by Marion Bay on the 29th, with both running through until January 1st. The Byron Bay leg will get going on New Year's Eve and finish on January 3rd, 2015. While not part of the Falls series of events, Western Australia's Southbound Festival 2015 will share the vast majority of the announced lineup, with the exception of Badbadnotgood and Tensnake. Southbound will take place at Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton, WA on January 3rd and 4th.
