- WeMe10ans features tracks from DJ Stingray, DMX Krew and more.
WéMè Records has put together a compilation called WeMe10ans to mark their first decade in operation.
The imprint was started by Fred De Chez back in 2004, and over that ten-year history it's presented a wide portrait of electro from the straightforward to the downright weird. They've released plenty of records from Drexciya's Gerald Donald (including NRSB-11, his team-up with fellow Detroit head DJ Stingray), as well as scene veterans DMX Krew, Ceephax Acid Crew and others.
WeMe10ans gathers up new tracks from some of the label's core roster—Ceephax, Stingray, DMX Krew and Gerald Donald's Der Zyklus are all represented. MNLTH, Leyland Kirby, Acid Kirk and even French composer François de Roubaix are on deck as well. The compilation is available now through WéMè's BandCamp, and is a free download for today only.
