  • The lineup for MUTEK Mexico 2014 continues to grow, with over 30 local and international artists added to the initial pile. An announcement made in June confirmed appearances from the likes of Andy Stott, Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery. The second wave covers a similarly eclectic range, with house and techno heavyweights (Roman Flügel, Mathew Jonson, Pachanga Boys) lining up alongside several more leftfield outfits (Laurel Halo, Millie & Andrea, Christian Löffler). Catering to more raucous tastes, The Bug & Flowdan will perform together, while Billie Mandoki, Metrika and Zombies In Miami rep for the Mexican scene. Other highlights include Canadian dub fanatic Deadbeat, UK experimentalist Heatsick and a live AV show from Egyptrixx. The 11th edition of the festival will run from October 20th through 26th. More names will be added as the festival draws closer, and, for further insight, check out this official teaser video.
