- The minimalist ensemble will release Tomorrow Is The Golden Age in October.
RVNG Intl. will issue the second full-length from New York septet Bing & Ruth on October 14th.
The minimalist hue of the group's piano-led pieces follows in the tradition of composer Morton Feldman as well as Gavin Bryars, who released music on Brian Eno's Obscure Records in the '70s. Pianist David Moore formed the group while studying music at the New School in the mid-2000s, and his impressionistic keyboard work is the foundation of the group's orchestral ambience. On Tomorrow Is The Golden Age he's backed by two upright bassists, two clarinetists, a cellist and, notably, a tape delay tech.
The label has revealed "The Towns We Love is Our Town", a visual single from the album. Check it out below.
