- The German minimalist will drop a mini-album on his own Meander label next month.
Berlin-based house producer DeWalta will release a mini-album called Illumination in September.
DeWalta is one of the lesser-known names of his home town's minimal scene. He's been a regular in clubs like Club der Visionaere, Watergate and Weekend since the mid-'00s, but it's only been in the past two years that he's gained an international reputation. Illumination will be released on Meander, a label he founded back in 2007. It's made up of six extended minimal cuts in DeWalta's trademark tripping, bottom-heavy style. It's due to hit shelves on September 15th.
