- The next EP in the UK producer's recently-revived house series will land in September.
Matthew Herbert will release his next Herbert EP on September 8th.
The UK veteran surprised many earlier this year when he announced Part 6, a continuation of the Parts 1-5 EP series from all the way back in the mid-'90s. That 12-inch heralded the return of Herbert's straight-up dance moniker after an increasingly experimental few years, and it was well-received, with RA's Kit Macdonald calling it "a release without a serious flaw to speak of" in his RA Recommends-stamped review. The new one follows suit with four more club-ready house tracks. There's a return appearance from Hejira singer Rahel, who appears on "Bumps," which you can stream below. As usual, Part 7 will come out on Herbert's Accidental label.
