Modern Love announces North American tour

- Andy Stott, Demdike Stare and Millie & Andrea are billed together for nine gigs in the US and one in Canada in September.
- Manchester experimental institution Modern Love has revealed details of a ten-stop stateside tour in September. Three of Modern Love's core acts will be crossing the pond to represent the label: Andy Stott, Demdike Stare, AKA Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty, and Millie & Andrea, Stott and Whittaker's recently revived collaboration (their first LP together dropped this March). They'll play all ten gigs across just eleven days, starting on Wednesday, September 17th with a night in Detroit. Toronto, the tour's one stop in Canada, is up next (where Christina Sealey from Orphx is also confirmed), followed by Brooklyn for an edition of The Bunker also featuring Function and Vatican Shadow, who'll appear in support of their upcoming album. Shows in Miami, Chicago, Austin and Gambier, Ohio are all lined up on the way to Seattle, where the trio will appear on Thursday the 25th for Decibel Festival. Lastly, events in San Francisco and Los Angeles (this one at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary) will wind down the tour.
