  • Other People will release a compilation called Work on September 29th. Nicolas Jaar launched the label last year, and he's kept busy with it, offering a new release every Sunday since it started—which has included music from Valentin Stip, DARKSIDE, DJ Slugo and others. Work is Other People's way of celebrating its first birthday, and it comes in double LP format. DARKSIDE offer up two unreleased tunes from the same sessions that birthed their debut album, Psychic, while his musical partner Dave Harrington covers Nick Drake's "Things Behind The Sun" and Ancient Astronaut gets remixed by Francis Harris, Powell and Jan Jelinek. There's also a new track from Jaar's other project VISUALS, and one from longtime associate Soul Keita.
