- The Italian label will celebrate its first birthday with a new cassette from the Detroit producer.
Gang Of Ducks is turning one this month, and celebrating with a new release from Traag.
Detroit-based Traag gave the Italian outfit its first EP last year, and since then they've offered music from similarly abstract minds like Shape Worship, My Panda Shall Fly and Vaghe Stelle.
"Ducklings no more," they promise in the press release, and they've invited Traag back for a more meaty drop this time around—a full-length cassette—called UPN 50, due out on August 25th. The label pledges to "move straightforward in the style of a playstation game cheat code: up-down-down-left-right-circle-square peg-round hole," and judging from "Win The Lotto"—which has a video you can watch here—it'll be as dark and strange, but still beat-driven, as ever.
