Demdike Stare and Mark Fell booked for Semibreve 2014

- Semibreve Festival has released full details of its 2014 edition, taking place from October 10th through 12th. Currently in its fourth year, the experimental weekender will return to the Theatro Circo Club in Braga. An initial lineup announcement was made in March, confirming patten, Demdike Stare and Ryoichi Kurokawa. The list has since expanded, with Thomas Ankersmit, Mark Fell and Swedish pair Roll The Dice all performing. Fell will also appear under his house and techno alias, Sensate Focus, while Miles Whittaker of Demdike Stare performs solo as Miles. Other highlights include local duo @C, UK techno veterans Plaid and Opal Tapes affiliate Karen Gwyer, who teams up with visual artist Maria Mónica. In addition to the main festival, Semibreve will run an exhibition at GNRATION from October 9th through 31st, displaying work from students of various national universities.
