- Prolific ambient artist Brock Van Wey's next LP will come out through n5MD in September.
bvdub will release his latest album, A History Of Distance, on September 2nd.
American producer and composer Brock Van Wey, now based in Shanxi, China, has had a staggering work ethic since he started producing in 2007. He's pumped out albums of ambient music, atmospheric techno and house for labels like Styrax, Outpost and n5MD, which will release this latest one. (He also operates under other aliases, including Earth House Hold and East Of Oceans.)
A History Of Distance is said to reflect the longing for the Western world that Van Wey occasionally feels from his relatively secluded home base. Spread over four lengthy tracks, the label promises that the LP takes bvdub "into new territory," including sections influenced by garage and shoegaze.
