  • Tallesen has revealed full details of his debut full-length, Stills Lit Through, due out in October through Software Records. Real name Cayman Johnson, the New York musician and visual artist is the latest addition to Daniel Lopatin's (AKA Oneohtrix Point Never) roster of abstract musical minds, joining the likes of Huerco S, Slava and Napolian. According to Johnson, the 12-track LP is "a response to the continuous flexibility of the physical setting by the additive of sound." The project reflects the coming together of his two disciplines, conjuring up "melodies painted with watercolour brushstrokes," according to the press release. For some insight, listen to the first single, "Strike Silver, Love Green," below.
