  • Scuba has cancelled his upcoming shows, citing ongoing health issues. The Hotflush boss, real name Paul Rose, made a statement on his Facebook page today. It read: "Some of you will be aware that I've struggled with my health this year. In the past couple of weeks the situation has come to a head and I've been in and out of hospital trying to deal with the various things that are wrong with me." He added: "I'm happy to say that things have now stabilised and I am on the mend. Unfortunately I have been advised by my doctor to take at least the next month off touring in order to fully recuperate. One of the reasons I've had ongoing problems this year is that I've not taken enough time to recover when I have been ill so I don't have much choice this time around. "I am absolutely gutted to have to cancel the shows that fall in this period, and I apologise enormously for any inconvenience and disappointment to you guys and also to the promoters and everyone else involved. Hopefully I will see you all back out on the road soon." The cancellations see Rose miss gigs in Dublin, Berlin, Birmingham, Ibiza and London, as well as a couple of festival dates in Hungary and the UK. His gig calendar says he will resume his gig schedule on August 29th in Montreal, Canada.
