  • Resident Advisor has teamed up with Hope Works to throw a party in Sheffield on Saturday, October 4th. It's our first event in the city and it'll take place at Hope Works, which is located in an old World War One gun barrel factory. Since launching in 2012, the crew behind the spot have brought a steady stream of house, bass and techno favourites to South Yorkshire—Ben Klock, Theo Parrish and Carl Craig among them—while shining a spotlight on local artists. The lineup for the RA event brings together some fierce techno acts. The party is spread across two rooms, with cult Berlin jock Rødhåd topping the bill. (Check this stream of his recent set on the RA stage at Nuits Sonores festival in Lyon for a taste of his style.) He'll be joined by UK favourite Perc and breakthrough producer Happa, who we recently profiled as part of our FastForward video series. Hope Works resident and founder Lo Shea rounds out the bill in the main room, while Volte-Face, Hodge and local crate-digger Chris Duckenfield are set to hold down the cosy second room. The party kicks off at 11 PM. Tickets are available here on RA.
