  • Laurent Garnier has announced the release of his next EP, BA371, due out on UK label Hypercolour next month. Garnier states his work with more underground labels has been a collaborative affair, with each release shaped by the aesthetic of his temporary home. On BA371, he turns in a pair of epic 10-minute tracks. The record's A-side, "ENCHANTé’, is a slow burn replete with strings, shuffling percussion and vocal samples, while the flip, "p?sn?uo?", is a Jeff Mills-influenced techno workout. With this, the house music veteran, best known for the tracks "Acid Eiffel" and "The Man With the Red Face", will conclude his series of five EPs on smaller labels, after releases on Jerome Derradji's Still Music, 50 Weapons, Musique Large and Danilo Plessow's MCDE, he'll end the succession with this two-tracker. Hypercolour has recently worked with Luke Vibert, Losoul and Will Azada. Tracklist 01. ENCHANTé 02. p?sn?uo? Hypercolour will release BA371 on August 18th.
