  • Sydney outfit S.A.S.H have announced Sleepout, their new three-day festival offering this September. The Sunday clubbing institution celebrated its most recent birthday back in May, chalking up three years of weekly house and techno events as well as occasional warehouse, boat and pool parties. This spring the brand will make its first foray into festival hosting with S.A.S.H Sleepout taking place at NSW's Hunter Valley, approximately two hours north of Sydney, with Cecile boss Nick Curly heading up the bill. Also DJing over the three days will be US veteran Adultnapper and German jocks Nico Stojan, Sammy Dee and Marc Poppcke, while Rodriguez Jr. will be dropping in for a live set. The homegrown lineup includes Melbourne's Mike Callander, also in live mode, as well as Sydney mainstays Simon Caldwell, Murat Kilic and Robbie Lowe, with S.A.S.H residents GABBY, Matt Weir and Kerry Wallace in tow. The festival takes place September 19th to 21st at a location yet to be disclosed in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The announcement coincides with the news that S.A.S.H will be moving venues this weekend, from its relatively short-lived home at Flyover Bar in the Sydney CBD to Home Terrace in Darling Harbour, which will become their new weekly Sunday spot. The opening party will take place on July 20th from 2 PM until 3 AM, with UK duo Him_Self_Her topping the bill.
