  • Los Angeles venue Los Globos will host a diverse one-off bill on Wednesday, July 30th. Brian Degraw, best known for his involvement with NYC art-pop unit Gang Gang Dance, will play LA later this month under his Beedeegee alias. Degraw released his solo debut Sum/One on 4AD last December. That album put a bass music twist on GGD's melodic frenzy, so perhaps the pairing with Darq E Freaker, London's self-proclaimed "professor of urban electronica", is apt. Freaker recently released the two-track Minger EP on Numbers. Neither artist has other dates scheduled. Software footwork outsider Slava has been tapped for support, along with Night Slugs affiliate P. Morris, who recently dropped his LP Debut via Bear Club Music Group. Debut and its accompanying visuals can be streamed on the artist's website. Atlanta dubstep DJ Distal will round out the bill. Check out the unsettling clip for Beedeegee's "Flowers" below.
